Classy Professions
Have you ever played a Hunter that never really hunted anything, but just held a bow? Or how about a Fighter that never had time to make money because he was too busy fighting, and repairing his equipment with the little money he gathered?
The problem with the now, hugely accepted class system is that you are foreced into playing a certain type of character. You will never see a fighter healing like a healer-class, or at least that has about as much a chance as a healer-class wearing full-plate armor like a fighter. But why not?
In Kings of Ethristah there is no class system, but instead you can take up professions at any point during the game, and even take up multiple professions, or quit ones you do not use/need anymore. I have asked why can't a healer-type person have the CHOICE of making and wearing heavy armor?
Allowing this freedom allows for a truly unique player character, gives the player the freedom to play his way rather then being forced to play how his class choice says they have to.
