Although I cannot officially release all the information about how professions are going to work. We have continued to design our profession system to allow a more tiered feel, to allow more meaningful progression.
Ethristah is a large continent that has very distinct features about it. In the NorthWest you have the tropical, and very beautiful Trelieflan, while in the middle is Kadminn which is mostly plains, and flatlands, but has some mountainous areas in the SouthWest and NorthEast, and damp marshes to the far East. Lastly is the desert area known as Thead located in the SouthEast peninsula.

-Key Locations

Have you ever played a Hunter that never really hunted anything, but just held a bow? Or how about a Fighter that never had time to make money because he was too busy fighting, and repairing his equipment with the little money he gathered?

The problem with the now, hugely accepted class system is that you are foreced into playing a certain type of character. You will never see a fighter healing like a healer-class, or at least that has about as much a chance as a healer-class wearing ...

Alignment is becoming a very popular feature to include in a game, especially in RPGs. However these game fail to accurately represent Good and Evil.

Good people are not always plain, wimpy, clerical type people. A Righteous Warrior with blood dripping from his axe can be just as good as the priest at the local church, as long as he has made the right decisions.

Evil is not always so cool looking, and now always powerful. Commoners can be just as evil as the evil mastermind ...

Never play the same game twice,

How about settling for a game that dynamically changes even without player intervention, that you truly not playing the same game twice.

-From beginning...

There is little chance you will be playing in the same starting town twice in a row. Beyond that each starting town has a unique atmosphere to it, which changes from game to game, and as the game goes on. But if for some reason you do happen to start in the same town consecutively there are other things that can be different. ...
